GENDER JUSTICE GRANTMAKING
For over 25 years, Third Wave Fund has resourced and supported youth-led, intersectional gender justice activism and organizing across the U.S. and territories.
As a gender justice funder with leadership and staff that reflects the communities we serve, our grantmaking and donor mobilizing advances the community power, well-being and self-determination of young Black people, Indigenous people, and People of Color (BIPOC) most directly impacted by and best positioned to end gender oppression. |
We recognize that young people bring critical analysis and power to all movements for justice and collective liberation, yet few funds are available for grassroots and BIPOC-led gender justice organizations in both moments of crisis and long-term sustainability.
Through monthly rapid-response grants, capacity-building grants, multi-year grants, community-based accountability grants, and sex-worker led grantmaking, we support our grantee partners in working toward personal and structural change to achieve well-being, self-determination, and liberation for all.
